Free is a rare genius level combination of prolific artist, songwriter, and producer.  As an independent self-released artist, Jaxson has garnered millions of streams.  The collaborative project between Free and Carolina All-Stars Lesthegenius and Sonny Miles, “Raleighwood Hills,” caught the attention of Barack Obama and earned them a spot on “President Obama’s Favorite Songs of 2019” playlist.  While many tracks in his eclectic catalog are 100% self-written and produced by Free, the word is out, and Jaxson is busy collaborating with top songwriters, producers, and artists.  Multi-platinum hit songwriter Matt McGinn calls Jaxson “the best songwriter I’ve ever written with.”  The “Jax buzz” has led to scores of major label artists cuts including the chart-topping Kane & Katelyn Brown crossover smash “Thank God.”  All this happening less than a year after signing with music industry veteran Kos Weaver’s Goat Island Sound.  His in-demand status as a songwriter/producer has led to one challenge, fans of Jaxson’s artistry are going to have to wait a little longer for new music from the burgeoning creator.
